Principals
Marjorie Miller, Principal
Ms. Miller has more than 30 years of experience in health
care administration and practice management. Before establishing
herself as an independent consultant in the health care
field, she managed a Philadelphia internal medicine practice
for 15 years. She also worked for Safeguard Business Systems
doing system development, training, and support for their
nationwide network of medical clients and distributors.
Ms. Miller received a BS degree in education from the University
of Pennsylvania. She is currently taking course work at
the University of Pennsylvania with the goal of receiving
a Masters degree in Bioethics.
Ms. Miller has been actively involved in the provision
of management services to large and small groups in both
primary care and specialty practices. Her projects include
practice mergers, strategic planning and business plan
development. Ms. Miller has significant experience and
expertise in the evaluation and implementation of practice
management systems, electronic medical records, and communication
systems. Her work has focused on development and monitoring
of practice management reports, space utilization, staff
development, policy and procedure development and documentation,
and all areas of general operational management. She has
developed and presented programs in a variety of management
areas, and has worked extensively with MSO and hospital
acquired practice activities. Ms. Miller has contributed
to articles published in a variety of journals and publications
and is a member of the Medical Group Management Association,
the Health Strategy Network, and the National Association
of Women Business Owners. She has served on the Board of
the Pennsylvania Harness Horsemen’s Association, and the
Alumni Board of Friends’ Central School. |
