Marjorie Miller

Marjorie MillerMs. Miller has more than 30 years of experience in health care administration and practice management. Before establishing herself as an independent consultant in the health care field, she managed a Philadelphia internal medicine practice for 15 years. She also worked for Safeguard Business Systems doing system development, training, and support for their nationwide network of medical clients and distributors. Ms. Miller's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and course work toward a Master of Science in Bioethics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Miller has been actively involved in the provision of management services to large and small groups in both primary care and specialty practices. Her projects include practice mergers, strategic planning and business plan development, evaluation and implementation of practice management systems, electronic medical record and communication systems, development and monitoring of practice management reports, space utilization, staff development, policy and procedure development and documentation, and all areas of general operational management. She has developed and presented programs in a variety of management areas, and has worked extensively with MSO and hospital acquired practice activities. Ms. Miller has contributed to articles published in a variety of journals and publications.

Most recently she is actively involved in quality improvement programs and is an active participant in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Chronic Care Initiative developed by the Governor's Office of Health Care Reform. Her most recent work focuses on strategic planning, decision support, implementation of healthcare information systems, and development of the Patient-Centered Primary Care Medical Home model.

Benjamin Levin

Mr. Levin has a thorough background in software development lifecycle with application development experience for the healthcare, finance, insurance and internet marketplace communities. He has been responsible for implementation of technology solutions for clients through all levels of Open System Interconnection Reference Model, including software implementation planning. He has managed networks with partners in the areas of desktop management, security, VMware, Cloud Computing, SaaS, VOIP integration and WAN management. He provides management support in large healthcare technology environments to various business operation units and has a wide range of system skills.

Before joining HealthPower Associates Mr. Levin provided administrative management services to primary care and specialty practices and has served as Administrator at Ninth Street Internal Medicine Associates, a level 3 NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Home. Current projects include provision of management consulting services to a 17 physician gastroenterology practice functioning as acting Executive Director and development of a technology infrastructure and master plan for a Continuing Care Residential Community in the Philadelphia area.

His educational background includes a Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from Drexel University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LaSalle University with a dual major in marketing and health care administration. Ben also completed the Wharton Business School Executive Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Nancy Meisinger

Ms. Meisinger BSN, CCP, MBA is the Administrator of North Willow Grove Family Medicine which, under her leadership, became a Level III Patient Centered Medical Home in 2008 (the 7th practice in the US to achieve this recognition). She also led the practice thru implementing an EMR in 2004 and converting to Open Access Scheduling in 2006 and has been part of the Governors Office on Health Care Reforms Chronic Care Collaborative since May 2008 as the Team Leader for North Willow Grove Family Medicine. With more than 20 years of clinical and administrative experience she also independently consults on practice transformation to a PCMH, process improvement, EMR selection and implementation, practice startup, and system redesign. Nancy received her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA, and her MBA in HealthCare from Alvernia University, Reading, PA.

Karen Wallenobrien

Sasha Ballen

Ms. Ballen has 15 years of experience in business process improvement, with specific expertise in technology and systems analysis. She has been the lead on multiple complex system implementations, including software development, process improvement and LAN/WAN network management.

Ms. Ballen received her BA from Bowdoin College, in Brunswick, Maine.
